Delhi Belly Complete Review

Aamir Khan Productions is ready to roll out its second offering this year Delhi Belly (After Dhobi Ghat released earlier in 2011).Delhi Belly is an adult comedy starring Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor.

Aamir Khan clarified that there were no differences between the director Abhinay Deo and him.He added Abhinay had done a fine job and the delay in release was primarily because he had been busy with films he was acting in.He said as a producer he prefers to release just one film at a time.Aamir has already shown the film to a test audience and is confident that the film will find a following with the youth.

Plot

Tashi, Arup and Nitin – flatmates, buddies and partners in crime. Tashi is to get married in a month but still doesn’t know if his fiancé is THE ONE! Arup can’t make up his mind who he wants to kill first – his girlfriend who has just dumped him or his stupid, annoying boss whose idea of creativity is sketching a smiling banana! And Nitin is about to discover that eating delicious tandoori chicken off a street vendor is going to give him the worst case of Delhi Belly he’s ever known! Three regular blokes, living the regular life EXCEPT for one small detail – they are on the hit list of one of the world’s deadliest crime syndicates. Will they be able to get away before the shit hits the roof and it comes crashing down? Delhi Belly – the meanest comedy you’re ever likely to see.

Concept of film

This film is written by Los Angeles based writer Akshat Verma.It was thrown at script piles in Aamir Khan's office, where Kiran Rao randomly picked it from the script piles, read it and began to laugh.Soon it was noticed by husband Aamir Khan, who also read it.Soon after this, he called the writer.Though he was hesitant because this might ruin the clean, family entertainment tag of his production house Aamir Khan Productions.Now that's interesting...isn't it?

There's no skin show in the movie but Aamir agrees that the movie is ' bold and irreverent', not meant for kids, and the faint hearted.The promo features scenes of sexual connotations,words like 'blow job' were also non-conservatively used.All in all it seems like a pretty good movie to provide full dose of entertainment to the viewers, as always expected from a Aamir khan film.
