58th National Film Awards for Best Entertaining Movie "DABANGG"

The 58th National film awards were announced today evening i.e. Thursday 19th May 2011.Arbaaz Khan's debut production superhit film Dabangg got the National Award for wholesome entertainment.Starring Salman khan and beautiful Sonakshi sinha Dabangg is still popular among mass.It's not surprising the movie which broke all box office records getting a national award for wholesome entertainment but it means a lot to a debut production.Arbaaz Khan is all set to make Dabangg 2, a sequel to the mega hit.

Along with Dabangg Director Vishal Bhardwaj's Ishqiya won four national awards(best music for the director and best female playback singer for his wife Rekha Bhardwaj,While Kamod Karade won best audiography location sound recordist, Debajit Changmai was named best re-recordist of the final mixed track).

Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh starrer middle-class family drama Do Dooni Chaar won the national award for best Hindi feature film.The film was directed by Habib Faisal.

The National Award for best feature film has gone to the Malayalam movie Adaminde Makan Abu.

Kannada movie Hejjegalu was named the best children's film.

Marathi actress Mitalee Jagtap Paradhar and Tamil actress Saranya Ponvannan won the National Award for best actress for their performances in the movies Baboo Band Baaja and Thenmerku Paruvakkaatru respectively.

Best English film: Memories in March 

Best special effects: Enthiran, Robot 

Best Music Director (songs): Vishal Bhardwaj: Ishqiya

Best Female Singer: Rekha Bhardwaj: Ishqiya

Best Male singer: Suresh Wadkar

Special jury award: Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein

Best educational film: Advaitam

Best Art & culture film: Leaving Home

Salman Khan is my fav plus Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, quite like follow most of their movies for their great acting.
